DODOHAE isn't factory-poured. Every piece is handmade and individually quality-checked by a ceramic specialist trained under Master Lee Jong-sung, holder of Chungbuk Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 10 for traditional Korean porcelain. Fired at 1,250 °C for a wall that's thicker, denser and more durable than the mass-produced ceramic bowls it sits next to.

A wide, shallow inner bowl — no whisker fatigue

Whiskers are sensory organs, not decoration. When they drag against the sides of a deep bowl, sensitive cats get stressed and start pawing food onto the floor. The inner dish is 16.5 cm across and only 3.4 cm deep, so your cat's whiskers stay where they belong.

13 cm high — right at cat shoulder height

Eating with a craned neck is uncomfortable. The stand is built to the average cat's shoulder height so they can eat with a relaxed, natural posture.

1.5 kg — zoomie-proof

Light bowls slide, tip and end up under the sofa. This one weighs 1.5 kg and stays exactly where you put it. A food-grade silicone ring locks the inner bowl into the base, so nothing rattles loose mid-meal.

Dense ceramic, easy to keep clean

Cats produce a lot of sebum around the chin, and scratched plastic bowls hold onto it. DODOHAE's high-fired ceramic is non-porous and smooth — it wipes clean, goes in the dishwasher, and the inner bowl lifts straight out so you can wash it properly every day.

Every DODOHAE glaze is tested at the Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering & Technology:

• Heavy metals — lead, cadmium and arsenic all below detection limits (KS L 1004)
• Detergent resistance — no residue after 6 hours of exposure (KS L 1210)
• Thermal shock — passed at 160 °C, so it's safe for the microwave and hot-water sterilising (KS L 1003)

Dishwasher safe. Microwave safe for warming wet food. Hot-water sterilisation safe. Lift out the inner bowl to wash both pieces properly, and rinse and dry the silicone ring separately.

As all these item are handmade and are made to order, these bowls will only reach us in one month.
